Every Friday (until December 18) at the Esplanade between 12:15PM and 12:45PM, you can check out some live music by local musicians. It is free and you are encouraged to bring your lunch and hang out for a bit by the Esplanade Cafe.

Hello there, my name is Rotten Dan of the Edmonton based band the Boogie Patrol (check us out on my space). I am currently trying to book a cross Canada tour with my associate of the Blues Barry Mack who hails from Halifax. We intend to make our way across Canada playing as a duo and picking up band’s at certain stops along the way while playing our swampy and groove filled style of Blues (good times gauranteed). I am a vocalist and a harmonica player. Barry is a vocalist and steel guitar player. We begin our venture on April 8th in Calgary then to the Rocky Mountains and from there we head east. We are looking for dates any day of the week. Weekend, weekday, it don’t matter we just wanna play. It would be greatly appreciated if we could make your venue a stop along the way.
