New look for the Santa Claus Fund website
Lately, I’ve been trying to get around to featuring all the new local websites that have been popping up lately, but it’s really hard writing about all of them on a weekly basis now. It almost seems like around 2 or 3 of them pop up per week – I guess I am not helping the situation either, as it’s part of my profession, haha.
This week we have a new website for the Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund (Society). The logo was designed by local design studio, December 2nd, while the website was created and designed by TriCube Media for a Medicine Hat News organization. It’s great when three local companies can come together and develop something; albeit, TriCube Media and Medicine Hat News were already working together. The website URL has also changed over to “mhsantafund” rather than the obscure “mhscf”.
A great section of the site is the event section which is a huge list of events taking place as part of the Santa Claus Fund. The 17 or so events are all happening from July to December and most of them are recurring yearly. Hopefully we can even post a couple of them on Medicine Hat Media when they are near. There was a full story about the make-over posted in the Medicine Hat News today.

THE REASON WHY I AM POSTING THE COMMENT BELOW IS BECAUSE CONNIE MATSON IS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE FOOD BANK AND IS ALOS ON THE BOARD OF THE SANTA CLAUS FUND. PEOPLE IN MEDICINE HAT SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE CORRUPTION THAT EXISTS WITHIN THE SANTA CLAUS FUNBD, ST VINCINT DEPAUL, FOOD BANK. In June 2010, I received a call from a lady representing St. Vincint DePaul who said that she received a call from my inlaws who said that if I could not afford to raise my kids that I give custody of my kids to my inlaws who will provide for them that Medicine Hat is a tightknit community and that I would NOT receive any support from St. Vincint DePaul, the Food Bank, the Santa Claus fund, the churches or any other organization”. I do not know the lady’s name who called me but she said that it was the last day of applications being accepted before the summer break.
BACKGROUND:
Around Eater 2009, Bonnie Leis made it CLEAR to me and my kids who were on a speaker conversation with Bonnie, that if my wife ever died of breast cancer that she would see to it that I would NOT receive a penny of the $200,000 life insurance policy that Lanette had set-up through work. A few days before she died the life insurence policy beneficiary was changed to myu kids when they are 21.
April 15, 2010 – I asked my mother-in-liaw Marion Leis what medication she was giving my wife. Marion replied, “It is none of your business”. I called the police to have her removed from my home. She points her finger at me and say … “I will win”. Marion cleaned out Tiffany’s closet with an intent to move out.
April 17, 2010 – Lanette was rushed to emergency and had an oxygen level of 47 which meant that she was experiencing brain damage.
Marion Leis prevented tiffany from contacting me via facebook.
May 3, 2010 – Lanette gets picked up by ambulance and rushed to the hospital where Tiffany witnessed her mom writing the will on a blank pience of paper that said, “I Lanette Desanko give my mother , Marion Leis, guardianship of my kids. In the Affidavit signed on May 31, 2010 Marion says, “That she had Tiffany because Jon Evens, Lanette’s solicitor informed me that I had control of the children as a result of the holograpgh will and the exparte order” Well John … to bad you misslead Marion and gave her some bad, missleading advise that may have caused your plan and their plan to get custody of my kids to backfire. When Marion Leis probates the will I will be contesting it on the basis that Lanette, along with her 10 other medical issues she did not have a sound mind to prepare a Will, just hours after being picked up by an ambulance.
May 11, 2010 – I Served Lanette with a parenting statement in provincial court that said I was the legal parent not Marion Leis. That afternoon, Lanette went to see a Lawyer, Jon Evens who advised her that the only way to squash a parenting statement was to divorse me in Court of Queens bench. Lanette NEVER WANTED A DIVORSE since she has previous toold me that she could not think of a better person to raise her kids than me and that she never really had a father as she was growing up that she would cry on my shouldrers and tell me that she wishes she had a father and that she WOULD NEVER DIVORSE me. Marion Leis offered and did pay for the Divorse and custody action which Gary Leis said they havve spent over $50,000 in legal bills.
May 13, 2010 – Adolf Leis, South Country Glass, broke into my home, assulted me, uttered threats and attempted to abduct Tiffany by force, all of which was recorded on a 911 tape. Adolf was subsequently arrested. Lanette was again picked up by an ambulance and rushed to the hospital.
May 20, 2010 – Rather than Lanette responding to the parenting statement that define me as the parent when Lanette passed, I was served with a divorse action, division of matrimonial property order, a custody order, an restraining order, and an evating of service order … All with me not haveing the ability to defend myself. The reason why Lanette’s lawyer did not prepare a valid will is that he KNEW that Lanette was not of a sound mind.
May 26, 2010 – Lanette died. Dustin asked Marion if she called me. Marion told Dustin I was on my way. Marion did not call me. Constable Wagner came to my home 3 hours after she died.
May 26, 2010 – Adolf points his finger at me and says , “Danny what did you do to your daughter that she does not want to see you … as you drove up she screamed as she ran down the stairs and she was shaking uncontrolably under the coffee table.”. Adolf … then repeated himself again. For those of you that do not know this but … it only takes one accusation of abuse to have a child investigated and removed from the home with a 3 month court order to remain away from the family home until an investigation is completed. This is exactly what adolf and the Leis wanted and planned to happen. The ironic thing was is that When I asked tiffany why she did not want to see me she said that she was just playing hide and go seek. On the May 31, 2010 affidavite that Marion Leis signed and swore on the bible … she committed pergery when she said that “He attended the house and tried to take Tiffany, at which time she was hiding under the table, behind the couch and refused to go with him. I later asked Adolf Leis to sign an affidavit saying that Marion commited purgery and Adolf said that he would … if I had not had him arressted when he broke into my home. What is this Adolf … you think that you and Steve Didack can just break into my home and it is MY FAULT … come on Adolf … you are a grown man … take some responsibility for your actions.
May 28, I have a tape recorded call where Marion Leis said that she was keeping Tiffany untill after funeral. tiffany was deprived of grieving with her brother or father or my side of the family.
Bonnie Leis said … ” NOBODY CALLS THE POLICE ON MY HUSBAND AND GETS AWAY WITH IT … i AM GOING TO MAKE IT LIVING HELL FOR YOU TO LIVE IN MEDICINE HAT”.
Lanette Desanko’s obituary reads, “In lieu of flowers … send a donation to Tiffany and Dustin. I submitted and invoice for Dustin to attend a babysitting course so he could babysit my nine year old daugther. Adolf Leis, Marion Leis, Tim Leis all said that it was in the best interest of the kids that they receive the in lieu of flower money when they are 21 years old. At the tinme I asked them, I was not working and did not have the money to pay for it. Dustin was withdrawn the the week long baby sitting course offered at the Medicine Hat College.
Since I got custody of my kids bqack, my neighbor, Danette Heinz of 43 Taylor crescent has been calling the police on my for petty things for the sole purpose of assisting the leis family into showing that the kids live in an unstable environment at home. Tiffany told me on July 2, 2010 that Marion Leis gets a phone call AFTER danette calls the police. Since I went public with Danettes claims swhe has not called the police. If her complaints to the police department were valid then why did she stop.

May 13, 2010 – 2 weeks after my wife died my inlaws sat down with my kids and said that when I get cut off from the food bank that I would be feeding them grass for breakfast, lunch and supper. 3 days leter, Tiffany and I go to the food bank and we were informed that we have been cut off. I reminded her that my wife just passed, I was not working and that I had two kids living with me that I had custody of. Feona, would not give me any reason why, then she started to make up reasons, then finally to shut me up that she blurted out that I commited fraud. I was so angry at how just three days before I was cut off from the food bank that my inlaws told me that I would be cut off. Dustin recorded the entire dialogue.
2 weeks AFTER my wife died of cancer on May 26, 2010, I had no employment income, and I was severely underwater financially when Adolf Leis of South Country Glass, Bonnire Leis, Marion Leis sat down with my children in the afternoon on a Sunday and told my kids that WHEN I get CUT OFF from the food bank that I would be be feeding the grass for breakfast, lunch sand supper. They continued to tell my kids that I had a mental illness and WHEN I started to take medication daily that I MIGHT have a chance at a normal life. I was SO MAD at thse alledged and untrue allegations that I wrote a letter to Justice Langston.
Bonnie Leis, trouble maker, says that “Nobody calls the police on her husband and gets away with it … that I am going to make it living hell for you to live in Medicine Hat.
Suzan, your board of Directors Secretary of the Food Bank association and Executive Director of the Medicine Hat Food Bank, Connie Matson, has an impressive profile as listed on your website. May I suggest that you investigate why the food bank in Medicine Hat is politically motivated to pick and choose who they WISH to provide assistance to. If I am guilty of fraud as Feona claims then please have the Medicine Hat Police department charge me with fraud so I can fight it AND WIN in court. Feona made a strong allegation and if it is true then charge me with fraud. PLEASE. May I suggest that one you read the email below that our family not receiving assistance from the food bank and St. Vincinit depaul is motivated by the fact the my inlaws want custody of my kids and Bonnie and Marion and Adolf leis are well connected in Medince Hat to have influenced the food banks decision to NOT assist a widow and 2 orphans. Perhaps Connie Matson needs to be replaced by another Executive Director who can follow the mission statement. I have asked Angela Williams, Supervisor of Alberta Works, to request a formal and writen statement as to why I was denied support so that I can publicly post the isasues and my response via email and website posts. I have absoultely no respect for the food bank and St. Vincint Deplaul and your decision is hurting my kids and is motivated by the fact that my inlaws want custody of my kids. I also have a 1500 page affidavit that further supports my position. If you email me I will forward ther 1500 page affidavit for your review. May I suggest that my family not receiving any support is as a result of the Leis family NOT wanting my to have custody of my kids. Also, my wife , just before my wifes death convinced my wife to change the beneficiary of a $200,000 life insurance policy from my name to my kids name when they are 21 years old. Once my inlaws got custody of my kids then they could draw off the insurance policy to raise them. It should be a crime for the food bank to be politiaclly motivated as they are just hurting my kids.

Connie was born and raised in Edmonton. When she graduated from school she moved to Hinton where she joined the Royal Bank. She was then transferred to Sparwood, B.C. where she lived for 10 years and then made the move to Medicine Hat where she has resided for the last 19 years. Connie left the Royal Bank after 28 years and then accepted the position of Executive Director of the Medicine Hat Food Bank. Connie has previously been the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Medicine Hat Food Bank. Connie has served on several boards over the years and has held every executive position a few times. Connie is presently serving on the Santa Claus Fund board in Medicine Hat. Connie is married to the man of her dreams and they have two grown daughters.
Since Feona, intake worker, at the food bank said I commited fraud … I asked the police to charge me with fraud so I could fight it in court. Connie, you are the executive director for the food bank and I
FOODBANK LIES – The intake worker admits that she lied to me before confessing that she lied.
Further to my Food Bank visit email below, it is pretty pathetic when the intake worker, Feona who is a former registered nurse, has the guts to lie in front of my advocate, her coworker and her boss, only to admit that she lied as the conversation persisted and she new that I was not going to give up with her continued deniel of what she told me. When I reminded feona that Feona said that there were 4 families in the Taylor area who were utilizing the food bank services Feona denied saying such a comment to me. However, when I was adement about her telling me this back in April 2010(3 times) she finally confessed and told me the truth and said that she agreed with me that in fact there were 4 families in the Taylor area that were utilizing the Food Bank Services. Thus how can Feona or anyone at the foodbank be trusted to provide a report on why my services have been terminated just days AFTER the leis grandparents told my kids that I would be cut off from food bank services, that can be trusted. It is for this reason that I will be publicly posting ALL written correspondence that I / we receive from the food bank and will be publicly responding to their allegations as to why I was cut off. I am appauled that Connie who boasts of being in the banking industry for 28 years and Feona who claims to be a former registered nurse, that are both traditionaly high trust positions can be so cruel to humanity and cruel to my children by being influenced by the Leis family false allegations about me, my imlaws telling my kids that I would be cut off from the food bank ( just days later I was cut off for no reason … even though I had a dead wife, no income and 2 kids) and the public statement made by St. Vincint depaul that they received a phone call from my inlaws saying that “if I can not afford to raise my kids that I should give custody of my kids to my inlaws who will provide for them and that I will NEVER receive any services from St. Vincint depaul, the food bank, the sanata claus fund or any other oorganization in Medicine Hat because we they are a tight nit community.” And when I went to see Feona 6 months later and asked for a cake and a few pizzas for my sons birthday only to down right refuse an updated application of services by me. I am just curious to the extent to the corruption that exists within the Medicine Hat Food bank.
The way the Food bank is treating me is a crime against humanity. Perhaps once I expose the corruption of the Food Bank in Medicine Hat then maybe positive changes can be made.

Citizens in Medicinat Hat need to know the truth about organizations that they contribute to. In the event that it is not posted I have screen captured the entire comments above to prove that this webiste is censored. If deleted I will post the screen shot in my emails.
