The local officials’ association, MHBOA (Medicine Hat Basketball Officials’ Association has developed their new website. To become an official or to register your tournament with properly trained and carded officials please go to www.mhboa.weebly.com.
With basketball season upon us again this year, the Medicine Hat Basketball Officials Association is looking for new members. The local membership covers games from Grassy Lake to the Saskatchewan border, and includes MHCBA, junior high, senior high and even has members officiating ACAC games featuring the College’s Rattlers as well as the occasional game in Lethbridge. New members will receive training and mentorship as they become a key part in helping young athletes play the sport they love.
More properly trained and certified officials will help the game grow and prosper. It is also an excellent way to make some extra spending money.
The online assigning software allows officials to receive and confirm their appointed games with ease.
The General Meeting and Exam will be held Sunday November 21 at 6:30 pm at Notre Dame Academy.
