    Vaughn says:

Thanks for the post Mike, definitely not something that I would try to cover.

This is very useful and I appreciate it Mike, I always felt this info is something that should be given to me, not something that I have to go out and ask a bunch of people about.

    Vaughn,

How can I (we) update this post? I don’t seem to have the privileges

    Vaughn says:

Mike, I can’t very well trust you at all. You’ve only supported us for like 2 years! Just kidding, you should now have the privileges.

    Dear Election Candidates

Only three candidates have webpages so far. Three weeks isn’t very long to get informed on a candidate’s platform, if some are still working on getting them out.
Seriously, how hard is it to post a blog somewhere so voters can know who they are voting for and at least be able to read your platform. To be informed on what you stand for. Are we to rely on condensed snippets from the news, yard signs and a couple sound bites from a few debates?

    Disappointing so far.

    Correction – 4 websites

    Vaughn says:

I’ll personally only be voting for candidates that have web presence. I want somebody in power that is actually living in today’s world.

So you can add it to the list.

I just wanted to say thank you for this site. I am twenty one years old and I believe that the youth of Medicine Hat, well actually all of Medicine Hat, needs to rise up in our voting turn out. As a young person one of the only ways I am informed is the Internet! Since I live on my own with no TV, and no newspaper, it is hard to get informed on who I should vote for, as I may not base all my decisions off who may have web sites or not, it is a excellent way to be informed. I encourage all candidates to create a website so that other young adults like myself can become informed. Thank you once again !

Thank you for putting this site together. I am a busy person with work, and a young family. I appreciate being able to find the information I need quickly.

thanks, hope that julie wins! Dont vote for jeremy thompson, he has “anger issues”. or John Hamil, he was the one who “pressed the wrong button last year for the new arena. That wouldve changed everything!
