Back to School Routes

Interested in the new school routes when your children have to go back to school on the 30th? A recently launched community site will help with with all you need to know! Tot-em Transportation, the company responsible for most school buses in the city has launched their new website and has .PDF route maps for tons of schools in the city, including:

Medicine Hat School District

Medicine Hat Catholic

Once you’ve clicked on a link above, make sure you select either AM or PM on the left hand side to be redirected to a list of corresponding maps (Note: only some schools have different AM/PM schedules). Alternatively, you can navigate around yourself at the Tot-em Transportation website. If your child’s school is not listed, please phone 403-527-6986 (ext 1) to get the information you need. I think it’s a pretty neat service and provides some much needed information for parents.

hi, i live in the trailer court in cresent heights on 20th st ne. I have a 7yr old daughter that goes to vincent massey. I am really upset on how far you have made her pick up stop. She is 7yrs old and will never make it in the winter in -30 weather. and also i am not sure i am willing to let her walk that far in the cold an in the dark at 7:20am on busy 20th st…. what was wrong with the pick up that they had before? Like i said i live in the trailer court its not like there is only 1 house there there are 63 and there are ALOT of children in this park! Why did this pick up change? Why cant you guys make that extra stop that would take 2 min to pick up like 20+ children?? i dont think this is fair at all.A bunch of us moms walked to 5th ave today(IN THE WARMTH) and it was quite a hike, cant imagine doing it in -30 weather! come on plse pick up where it was before or make that extra stop to pick up all these children!!!!

Your comment would better utilized if you reported it at 403-527-6986 or sent to Tot-em on their contact page located here: http://www.totemtransportation.com/Contact.php however, since it was the first day with all the new schedules, there was bound to be some hiccups and re-schedules will probably be made eventually. Hopefully you can get a response and resolution about your situation.
